Valentina’s hot sauce is produced in Mexico, where it is also very popular and well-known. A common use is in combination with lemon and salt, for example on a fresh cucumber or various fruits (e.g. watermelon, orange and pineapple). This is the spicier version of the original Valentina sauce (Black Label). Try something new and combine Valentina with fruit!

I did not find this sauce very tasty as a condiment. It’s way to vinegary for my taste, heat is mild/mid depending on your experience. But it’s dirt cheap, can’t be mad at cheap. Best used as an ingredient – marinades, stews, etc. rather than a condiment. (one star for taste + star for cheap + star for amount in the bottle).
